My Review Of "Earthing" Sheet

I love my recovery "Earthing" bag. Every night when I lay down to go to sleep or read a book, it has been a calming and relaxing experience. The first few nights, I felt a pleasant tingling sensation going up and down my body. When I woke up in the morning, I felt refreshed and rested.

My friend bought a bed sheet and was able to get rid of most of her allergy health challenges and decrease the pain from a previous injury. At first, she felt jittery for a few hours and could not fall asleep. When she was ready to give it up, she started to notice how her body started to feel calm and relaxed. Her body was re-synchronized and balanced with the earth. Now, she does not sleep without it.

My daughter has  been using just the one band around her ankle through the night and was able to eliminate menstral cramps.

My son uses a bed sheet and he noticed that he felt a sleep faster when he was grounded.

An 11 year old girl who recently had a serious surgery and broken her wrist while she was riding a four-wheeler. Within a 3 month time frame, she started to use the recovery bag. The first time she got into the bag, she felt a tingling sensation around her surgery site and her broken wrist. She felt relaxed and calm within 5 minutes into grounding. As young as she is, she feels the difference when she grounds and when she doesn't. The earthing sheet reduces inflammation of her trauma area; therefore, she is able to heal and rest.

A 13 year boy who was always on the go and very active started grounding and noticed that he felt tired or sleepy feeling. At first, he did not like "tired" feeling. His mom encouraged him to not to give up using the sheet. Now, he loves the feeling relaxed and calm.

These are just a few examples of what grounding can do for you. The benefits for healthy or health challenged individual are

Raw Tangy & Sweet Green Tomato Relish

What do you do when the tomato season is over and still have plenty of green tomatoes? I made this sweet and tangy raw green tomato relish. This recipes will make about 12 pints.

*Raw Tangy & Sweet Green Tomato Relish*
15 to 17 green tomatoes (1 peck)
2 onions, chopped
3 red peppers, chopped
1/3 to 1/2 cup salt
1/3 to 1/2 cup palm sugar (not raw, but low in glycemic index of 35)
1 qt. apple cider vinegar or Bragg's apple cider vinegar
1/2 qt. purified water
*For spicy flavor, add 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped

Directions:
Mix them well and let it sit overnight. Follow cold canning instruction. Refrigerate.
*If you are using Bragg's apple cider vinegar, please boil the apple cider with the sugar and salt. I called Bragg's company and they told me to boil the vinegar. If you don't, the pressure from the fermentation will cause problem in canning.  If you wish to use without boiling it, make sure it is refrigerate right after it is made and make in less quantity. Enjoy!

Superfoods #4: Cacao

Magical! Sinful! So tempting.....Desire to satisfy your sweet taste buds... You are walking down the grocery store candy section and searching for that candy you have been craving. You just finished off "Supersized" candy bar or bag, and you feel guilty now. No more guilty!!! Next time eat raw cacao... Have you ever smelled the real cacao? Just smelling cacao indulges your desire....

I really am not a sweet tooth person, but I do love chocolate syrup made with cacao. Cacao, "The food of the gods", is not the same as the processed cocoa powder. In ancient Mexico, the cacao beans were used as currency. The Aztecs called cacao, yollotl eztli,  means " heart blood". The raw cacao bean is considered a superfood because of its nutritional content, but the processed chocolate products we see in the stores are so processed and refined that it has lost the most of the valuable nutrients.

The cacao has:
*antioxidants properties
*magnesium
*iron
*chromium
*manganese
*zinc
*copper
*vitamin C
*omega 6
*phenylethylamine (PEA)-increases focus and alertness
*anandamide-known as "bliss chemical", endorphin
*tryptophan
*serotonin
*fiber
*methylxanthines: caffeine and theobromine

Many of these nutritional components get destroyed when the heat is applied. If you desire to satisfy your sweet cravings, go for the raw cacao and enjoy with all the benefits.

Move Over Cow Milk.... Hemp Seed Milk Is GOOD!!!!

I love drinking smoothie. In the past, I only made almond milk. Recently, I felt in love with hempseed. Hempseed has rich in amino acids including essential amino acids, balanced omega 3 and 6, chlorophyll, phosphorous, potassium, magnesium, sulfur, calcium, iron, manganese, zinc, sodium, silicon, copper, iodine, chromium, and other traces of minerals.
This is how I make hempseed milk.

Uhhulled hempseed needs to be soaked to remove enzyme inhibitors, but I use hulled hempseed.

Hempseed Milk
Equipment needed: blender
Ingredients:
1/2 cup shelled hempseed
1 Tbs. vanilla extract or a half of vanilla bean
1/4 tsp. salt
6 to 8 cup purified water

Blend them and drink. I mix the pulp into my smoothie as well. For sweeter taste, add soaked 4 dates.
