Gerson Therapy #3

As I mentioned previously that the Gerson therapy required rather strict discipline. First, one must give up salt. At first, the taste of food without salt was so foreign too me. I love to cook, and I know that the salt brings flavor of the food together. For Gerson therapy, the flavor comes only from the ingredients. In the beginning, I had a difficulty without the salt, but after a week into the therapy, I found myself started to appreciate the food. The physiology reason for prohibiting salt consumption is  So, one must wonder where do we get salt? Gerson therapy also requires for you to drink freshly juiced carrots, apples, and variety green vegetables and that is where you get the salt. So far, it has been almost 5 months without salt and had done periodic blood test, and I have not had any electrolyte imbalances.

I started to really appreciate for food for what it is to offer. My daughter loves Hippocrate Soup. We make with organic
2 Big Tom tomatoes, chopped
2 Russet potatoes, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 or 3 cloves garlic, crushed
just little bit of distilled water

and it is cooked at the lowest heat for 1 to 2 hours. The smell is incredible. I love to eat this soup after it has been through the food mill and add hot baked potatoes. Give it a try.

Raw Sprouted Tofu And Kelp Noodle Salad

My daughter is a raw/vegan. I am always trying to find different ways to prepare a meal for her. This recipe crosses between raw and cooked vegan food. It is absolutely delicious.

Raw Sprouted Tofu And Kelp Noodle Salad
1/2 of two pack sprouted tofu, crumble with fork, non-GMO, check out this tofu. I prefer to use firm texture. http://www.wildwoodfoods.com/products/meat-alternatives/listings/water-pack
1 kelp noodle, rinsed and chopped, I get them through www.iherb.com, free shipping helps.
1 to 2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1/2 lemon juice
2 Tbs. Coconut Aminos, I prefer this product over soy sauce or nama shoyu.
1/2 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup finely chopped parsley

Mix them well. Serve it over green salad or eat is by itself. This is a raw way. Also, add other vegetable you love like zucchini, kale, cabbage, peppers or celery. I love to add hot peppers for my daughter. Be creative.

*If you don't mind the cooked ingredients, I usually saute shredded carrot and finely chopped onion just till they become translucent. Also, I add sour and tangy flavor by adding  some fermented cabbages.
I make rolls using wonton wraps. I do not fry them. I bake them in the oven. After wrapping the mixture according to the direction and rub some grape seed oil or sesame oil on the top of the rolls. Bake about 5 to 10 minutes or until the top browns. My daughter loves them!!!!!

Gerson Therapy #2

The clinic in Mexico requires for you and your companion to stay minimum 2 weeks. Most guests were staying for 3 weeks. Some were staying 5 weeks. I met many people from all over the world. I heard many stories of curing cancer and other chronic dieases and met a person who was cured from melonoma.
I truly recommend the Gerson Therapy anyone who is dealing with chronic degenerative dieases and other illnesses. Yes, it is a huge commitment you have to make and it is imperative that you prepare mentally to stay with the program to achieve a goal you desire. I believe that it is important for you to explore all of your options. The more knowledge you have you have a higher chance of achieving your goal. No one should be forced or bullied by any one when you are making a such important decision regarding your health.

I also highly recommend to read The Gerson Therapy books and watch http://www.snagfilms.com/films/title/dying_to_have_known or http://www.snagfilms.com/films/title/the_gerson_miracle to start your healing journey.

The Gerson therapy books and the experiences at the clinic provided me with some important insight into the therapy. Arm yourself with options and knowledge for your health.

Gerson Therapy #1

I had an awesome opportunity to go to Tijuana, Mexico for 9 days to learn about Dr. Max Gerson Therapy after reading The Gerson Therapy The Proven Nutritional Program For Cancer and Other Illnesses by Charlotte Gerson and Morton Walker, D.P.M. I wanted to share my experiences and information about the Gerson therapy with people.
I had to arrive at San Diego, CA a day before I was to arrive at the clinic. I highly recommend staying overnight at a hotel a near by the airport and hire a shuttle to cross the border. When your medical application gets approved by the doctors at the clinic, you will get all of the traveling information. The crossing border was smooth without any difficulties. The clinic is located about 10 minutes from the border. I was told how dangerous it is in Tijuana due to the drugs and gangs. I felt very safe within the clinic and walking down to the beach during the day with other guests at the clinic. The clinic is cozy and personable. I do recommend a room that is not too close the kitchen because it can get a bit loud. Some rooms are big and spacious and some are very small. My room was very small. I was glad I was alone. The rule is when you come, you have to have a companion with you.

The staff members are kind, patient, and understanding. I loved the kitchen staff members the most. I was a bit frustrated because there was a bit of communication issues. I feel that at times the questions were left with a question mark with the doctors and nurses.

Next blog, I would like to explain about my experience at the clinic and share information about the Gerson therapy.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Again, another year flew by us. I hope everyone can look back and say "I have done good". Everyone is busy getting ready for the holidays. Please be mindful of what you are making and eating. If you are a cook of the family and friends, you are affecting your loved ones health. Once, I indulged the love of the traditions of the holidays. Now, I believe that these holiday traditions are a "culture of death". For the sake of holiday, we consume so much fat, sugar ridden foods. I feel that creating new healthy "traditions" for your family and friends for the holidays would be an excellent idea to welcome a healthy body, mind, and spirit. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!

Living Food Class Level 1 Part 1

I hope Karen, Jackie, and Jim had a great time preparing and sharing information. We shared so much information about eating healthy, GMO food, and earthing. Six hour went by very quickly. I know it was too much to digest in one day class. Usually, this class is divided into 2 day consecutive course, 3 hour each. If you are interested in this class, please call 330 727 7251.
